ORDERS FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UK

Although we retain a very comprehensive stock we can not guarantee that every item shown and listed is always ex stock due to varying demand and supply. This does in particular apply to imported items where the lines of supply are sometimes extended. If a low cost item is not immediately available, and we have a similar product, We will send a near substitute unless requested not to.
Carriage costs in the UK
Typical costs are, Basic Kits £4.50, Ultimate or fully loaded kits £6.50, Ready to fly from £11.50 to £12.50. Batteries , motors and small parts £0.75 to £2.50.
Carriage costs overseas
Carriage of orders sent overseas will be charged at cost depending on the item being sent and the country the item is being sent to. Sent by Parcel Force World-wide and United Carriers - within certain parts of Europe. All small packets are sent International letter post. Datapost & Euro 48 is available to some countries on request, along with Swift Air at cost. Other specialist carriers like UPS, etc. can be used if the customer wishes - but the costs are normally quite high.
Cancelling (Orders within the EC)
You have the right to cancel within 7 working days after the day you take receipt of goods. You must notify us within this time that you wish to cancel. You are required to take good care of the goods and return them to us at your own cost within 30 days. If you would like to phone our despatch department we can arrange to have the item(s) picked up. We will subtract the cost from your refund. If we send a substitute without first checking that the substitute is acceptable then consumers are not expected to pay return carriage costs.
These rights are in addition to those relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Returns. Repairs, Refunds etc
Unassembled Kits
- FlyingWings guarantees all of our unassembled kits to be free from defects in both material and workmanship at the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover incorrect application, incorrect installation, components worn by use, tampering, misuse or shipping. Since FlyingWings has no control over the final assembly, no liability shall be assumed or accepted by FlyingWings for any damage resulting from the use by the user of the user-assembled product.
Ready to Fly Models
- FlyingWings guarantees our Ready to Fly models to be free from defects in both materials and workmanship at the date of purchase. Since FlyingWings has no control over the skill level of the pilot or location of attempted flight, no liability shall be assumed nor accepted by FlyingWings for any damage resulting from the use of a customer controlled product.
Electronics
- Most of the electronics we sell are manufactured by some company other than FlyingWings, for those products the manufacture should be contacted for repairs or warranty claims. For those products that are manufactured by FlyingWings, they are guaranteed to be free from defects at the time of purchase.
Returns
- Must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase, verified by dated payment receipt. All returns are required to have a Return Authorization Number (RAN) written on the box, please call our service line to receive this number. Packages without a RAN will not be accepted for return. All products must be in new and unused condition to be considered for return. Ready to Fly models that have been flown or attempted to be flown are not returnable.
Exchanges
- Available only on products purchased directly from the FlyingWings on-line store or direct from the warehouse. FlyingWings products purchased from an Authorized Dealer must be exchanged at that dealer's
Repairs
- FlyingWings does offer a repair and tune up service for our wings. The shop rate for repairs is £15/hour, with a one hour minimum. Airplanes that require more than two hours worth of repair time are usually best to be retired and replaced with a new model. Arrangements must be made prior to sending any airplane in for repair, please call our service line for details.
Refunds
- In the event a refund needs to be issued, we will do so via the payment method originally used. Refunds will be less all shipping and handling charges. For items shipped with "free shipping" there will be a £10 or 15% restocking fee (which ever is greater). For a refund to be issued, the returned item must statisfy the above mentioned conditions.
