V-Trainer Brushless Value Kit £67.95
Hi Robert/Richard,

Just to let you know that I finished the V Tail Trainer this morning and it had its maiden flight(s) this afternoon. I have to say that it flew ‘straight off the board’ as they say – all highly successful and no bad habits at all.

I did think it was really a bit too windy (around 15mph I would guess) but, what the heck, it’s a plane and it should put up with a bit of wind? Boy was I surprised – it just headed off into wind with a nice steady climb, gentle turn downwind and a few lazy figure of eights later I started to wonder how well it pulled a loop. Seven consecutive loops later and time to come down for a check on motor heating and general well-being. All OK so off again, I never really looked at the time passing but before I knew it, the motor started slowing appreciably and I judged it time enough to congratulate myself on getting it into the air and down again a few times without any sort of drama at all.

All in all, a great flyer that handles a bit of wind very well indeed and is a real pleasure to fly. Am now looking forward to some calmer weather to see if I can get some longer flight times out of it. I suspect I used quite a lot of battery today just making my way upwind a lot of the time – the downwind legs only took seconds!!!

Great product guys and I am sure it has re-awakened my interest in the sport after many years – I’m just pleased that I now don’t have to carry all that smelly diesel or glow fuel to get a few minutes of escapism! Who knows, once I start getting a little more confidence I’ll be starting to think about cameras and video???

Regards

Richard B
